BACK TO SCHOOL!!!

Well school is in full swing, and all 3 of our kids are having a great time!! Allie started 2nd grade on Aug 18, she is getting so old and is such a good little girl and is really excited to be in the 2nd grade!! Noah started the next day, he is going across the street on tues and thurs, our GREAT neighbor does preschool (she is awesome I might add!!) and Noah thinks it's pretty fun!! He is always saying "Tecia's house, Tecia's house!" Our Hadlee was the last to start and her patience was REALLY put to the test!! The day finally came today and boy was she ever EXCITED! She goes in the afternoon, and it was PURE torture for her to wait after we sent Allie on her way in the morning! She had a great day and did a great job riding on the bus for the first time on the way home!! Hadlee has been waiting for Kindergarten since she finished preschool last May!! Well, it seems weird to have the kids back in school already, the summer really flew by!! Our schedule will be CRAZY and I feel like a true "soccer mom". with all 3 going in different directions, carpooling and going to the bus 3 times a day, not to mention soccer practic and games!! WOW life is good!!

So we have spent A LOT of time at our neighborhood pool this summer!!! GOOD, CHEAP, FUN!! The girls have really improved their swimming skills, and our little Noah has really suprised us, the first of the summer it took him litterally 2 hours to get 1 foot in the water, and look at him now!! He is amazing!! We have all had a GREAT summer at the pool!!

Kevins dad bought a boat this summer and the girls have LOVED it!! We have been up to Jordanelle a bunch of times this summer and this time we remembered the camera!! Even Noah loves Papas boat!! Anyways it has been a fun summer on the boat with fun memories for our family!!

RODEO!!

We went to the Days of 47 Rodeo on July 24th and it was alot of fun! It was my first experience at a rodeo, looks painful, the kids all loved it, Noah kept saying "Horsies! Horsies"! Nobody ended up riding a bull for 8 seconds, but it was fun watching them try!! All I gotta say is, you gotta be really CRAZY to want to ride those things! Notice the faded butterfly and snake on the girls faces, they insisted on keeping them on for the rodeo!

Handcart days

We had a great time in Bountiful for their Handcart Days! The kids had fun at the carnival, getting their faces painted (they kept it on for 2 days), going to the parade and playing with all their cousins at my Aunt Marla's house while we ate yummy food!! It was a fun day!

This is the Place!

Haddie got picked by Radio disney to do a trivia contest.....and won 4 tickets to the Days of 47 Rodeo!!! GO Haddie!

We went to the This is the Place Heritage Park today...it was FREE and had tons of fun activities for the kids!! It was a lot of fun and the kids had fun learning about the pioneers and what kinds of things the pioneer children had to do...afterwards at dinner Allie said "if I could make a time machine I would go back to the pioneer days and teach them how to make all the modern stuff and then come back to my house". I think Allie was definitely born in the right time period, don't you? We are all really lucky and blessed for all the sacrifices that the Pioneers did for us!! It is so fun to live in this state and to celebrate this time of the year!!

I heard a noise.....

I was sitting inside tonight and heard some rumblings......there is lots of advantages to living right next to thanksgiving point.... especially this time of the year!!! This is the 3rd one this month and the best one so far! Allie was the only one left awake and came down to watch with us and kept saying what is so special about today mom?
